Important: Only Destiny Administrators and Site Administrators can manage access levels and permissions. |
Access levels define the Destiny® functions a user can perform and what the user can see. Each access level consists of permissions. Test Resource Groups are defined during the creation of or modification of an access level.
This illustration shows the hierarchy of access levels:
Default Access Levels
Destiny comes with several default access levels (below). You can also create access levels.
These are the default access levels that Destiny comes with:
- Administrator
- Guest
- Patron
- Staff
- Teacher
Depending on the product(s) you have, you can also have these default access levels:
- Library Administrator
- Textbook Administrator
- Resource Administrator
