Update digital content
(Resource Manager)
Select Catalog > Resource Search
On the Update Digital Content page, you can also add documents to a resource item or media.
You can add up to five scanned documents, such as warranties or service contracts, to a resource or item.
You can associate any file type except .exe, of any size up to 500 MB.
To add or update a document
note You can get to the Update Digital Content page from various places. This topic details one of the many ways to update or add a document to a resource item/media.
- If you are not on the Resource Search page, then follow the steps in the blue title bar.
- Search for a resource. When you find the resource you want, click Details.
- Select the Items tab or Media tab.
- Find the resource you want.
- Click
. The Update Digital Content page appears.
- Use the following table to complete your task:
important Your ability to update documents depends on your access levels. Without the required access levels, you might not be able to update documents. Also, if no documents are attached to the resource, then you can only add a document. Once documents are attached to a resource, then you have the following additional functionality.

- Click +Add new. The Add Digital Content page appears.
- In the Digital Content Name field, type the identifier.
- From the drop-down, select accordingly.
- Click Browse , and then navigate to the resource you want to attach to the resource/item.
- Click Save. The Add Digital Content page appears.

. The file appears on a new page.

. The Edit Media/Item page opens.
- Complete information as needed.
- Click Save.

Delete digital content attached to an item / media |
- Click
. A confirmation message appears.
- Make selections accordingly.
- Click Save.

important Digital content is stored in your FSC-Destiny\fsc\districtResources\ folder. If you automatically back up your SQL database, it does not include these documents. Follett recommends that you back up your FSC-Destiny\fsc\districtResources\ folder.
