Configure OAuth consumers

OAuth provides a method for users of both Destiny® and Aspen Curriculum and Learning to securely access Destiny resources through Aspen.

You will need to add your Aspen server as a consumer of Destiny resources, and then enter the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret in Aspen.

Once a user consents, Aspen can access Destiny using behind-the-scenes access tokens instead of requiring user credentials.

In effect, this enables a user to log in to Cognite and access Destiny without having to also log in to Destiny.

To create a Consumer

1. Enter a name.
2. Click Save.
   Destiny creates a Consumer Key and a Consumer Secret.
3. Manually copy these values and paste them into the corresponding configuration page of Aspen.
