Map Patrons to LDAP Servers

For each Patron Type in your district, you can designate a primary and secondary LDAP server.

Global Updating

If a particular Patron Type, regardless of site, uses the same LDAP server, you can update all of them at once:

1. Select Home > Setup > District Options sub-tab.
2. Next to LDAP Servers, click Edit.
3. On the LDAP Setup page, click Edit Mappings.
4. From the Global Update Every Patron Type of drop-down, select the Patron Type you want to update.
5. Use the table below to determine how to change the servers:
   

   From this drop-down...	Select
   Change Primary LDAP Server to	The server used for authentication Note: Selecting Unassigned removes the mapping for the selected Patron Type.
   Change Secondary LDAP Server to	The secondary server for authentication Note: Selecting Unassigned removes the mapping for the selected Patron Type.

6. Click Update.

Individual Updating

To add, change or remove the LDAP servers for a particular Patron Type/Site Name, click  in the row of that Patron Type.
