The inventory process lets you compare the resource item records in your Destiny Resource Manager database with the actual items in your district. This helps you ensure the accuracy of your records and ensure you have items that patrons want.
You can also report on the current value of your resources and make better decisions about which materials to purchase in the future.
To perform an inventory:
- Start the inventory.
- Conduct the inventory.
- Generate inventory reports to determine which items are in the inventory, accounted-for or unaccounted-for.

Note: Since you can have multiple inventories open at the same time, give each inventory a unique name and make sure to check that the correct inventory is selected. |
