eTextbooks (Textbook Manager)

Select Catalog > Add Textbook

eTextbooks are available in Textbook Manager.

important: Existing links (entered in the Resource URL field of the title record) in Textbook Manager v12.0 and lower are automatically converted when you upgrade to v10.5 or higher.

note: What you are able to do with eTextbooks is dependent on the access levels given to you.

Here are some key things that can be done with eTextbooks (depending on your role):

• Manage eTextbooks
• Create eTextbook and copy records
• Provide students with easy access to eTextbooks and related materials
• Create multiple links to digital content (for example, eBooks, audio, video, websites)
• Determine if students and faculty who check out an eTextbook has access to the digital content in My Info
• Check eTextbooks out and check them in early (if necessary)
• Work with textbook groups; see Textbook Groups
